Ensure entry into the casino gaming areas is in compliance with local gaming regulations.
Assists with the strategic direction for the departments of responsibility and proactively conveys guidelines for staff that shapes the unparalleled standards expected.
Conduct risk assessments & recommend mitigation treatments to senior management.
Make certain that areas of accountability are executed in uncompromised levels with proper utilization of departmental resources.
Oversee supplies, materials and equipment utilized by the security team are maintained and are in complete working order.
Designate manpower levels for each functional area.
Oversee safeguarding of property assets & sensitive gaming materials.
Develop & maintain a relationship with local law enforcement and peers at other resorts for enhanced communication and cooperation.
Supervise all investigations & interviews conducted by the Security team.
Produce and/or assists in the preparation of annual budgets and operation forecasts; produces regular and special reports; maintains required records and files.
Ensures all activities performed within the department are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, and established safety and security standards.
Hires, trains, motivate, and provide on-going communication to staff to deliver first-class service with unmatched elegance and professionalism while promoting a culture of accountability.
Propose staff changes in assigned areas, including the hiring, promotion, demotion, and vacations, leaves of absence and release of staff.
Creates an encouraging atmosphere & culture that stimulates and motivates employees to acceptable levels of turnover, absenteeism, and promotions.
Communicates with operational departments and peers to achieve superior customer satisfaction and efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
Actively assist, support and co-operate with the Surveillance operation as required.
Maintain close working relationships with other departments and their leaders to promote feedback, cross training and efficient operations.
Other duties as required by the Director/Assistant Director of Security & Surveillance.

Minimum 5-7 years Security industry experience required. (Casino security exp. preferred)
3 years security management level experience required
Casino Security pre-opening project experience a plus
Bachelor degree is required or extensive Security experience
Computer & Microsoft Office knowledge required
Speak, read and write English fluently
Exceptional and professional communication skills, both oral and written
Experienced in strategic & resource utilization planning
Experienced in physical incident management techniques
Proven ability to manage to all levels of management.
