Assists with the strategic direction for the departments of responsibility and proactively conveys guidelines for staff that shapes the unparalleled standards expected.
Assigns priorities to the Security Supervisors which will be executed by the Security Officers.
Make certain that areas of accountability are executed in uncompromised levels. Proper utilization of resources is a must.
Oversee facility and equipment in the responsible areas to make sure they are in complete working order.
Designate manpower levels for each functional area.
Supervises and plans schedules with the Supervisors for all of the duties which the officers are to carry out.
Oversee safeguarding of assets transported to and from hotel.
Maintain a strong relationship with local law enforcement and peers at other resorts for enhanced communication and cooperation.
Assures optimum guest service through delivery of excellent customer service.
Manage all investigations conducted by Security or Surveillance personnel.
Evaluates security reports for compliance; maintains required records and files.
Prepares and/or assists in the annual budget and operation forecast; prepares regular and special reports; maintains required records and files.
Ensures all activities performed within the department are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, and established safety and security standards.
Establishes and maintains a progressive and empowered work force. Trains, counsels and coaches assigned personnel in the performance of their duties; prepares and presents Performance Appraisal Reviews.
Propose staff changes in assigned areas, including the hiring, promotion, demotion, and vacations, leaves of absence and release of staff.
Creates an encouraging atmosphere that stimulates and motivates employees to acceptable levels of turnover, absenteeism, and promotions.
Communicates with partnering departments and peers to achieve superior customer satisfaction and efficient security support service is provided when needed.

One – Two years working experience required.
One year department experience preferred.
College degree is required.
Microsoft Office knowledge required.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally. Fluent in English is encourage/required (depending on guest contact level).
Exceptional and professional communication skills, both oral and written.
Background in security, military, or law enforcement.
Capacity to foster productive relations with peers and assure teamwork is the prevailing way to do business.
Strong leadership, sound judgment, and superior decision-making, problem-solving and follow up skills.
