To direct and manage all day to day Operation department activities.

Responsible for the asset management of department. Ensure equipment and tools used for the right purpose and in accordance with the technical.
Management Software handicap system, update handicap information for monthly membership.
Responsible scoring for tournaments.
To keep detailed report day to day of Caddie rounds to enable the proper payment of round commissions.
Monitoring starter Employee entered correctly of hire data and round fee.
Monitor and manage the golf cart to ensure the golf cart is in good condition for customer use.
To monitor the performance assessments of each department ensuring they are delivering the standard of service expected.
Monitor the pace of play on the course taking proactive action to ensure a group do not unduly hold up play.
Be proactive in ensuring the presentation of the golf course is to the required standard throughout the day.
Ensures that the golfers follow the club rules relating to play on the course.
Proactively encourages golfers to follow the rules of golf and etiquette on the course.
To approach any person on the golf course who does not have the right to be there and escort them in the clubhouse or off the premises.
Proactively approach golfers providing assistance if required.
Proactively resolve customer questions about rules and etiquette on the golf course.
Ensure all working areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner.
Ensure healthy enough to work outdoors.
Keep body always clean and tidy.
To comply with all standards of performance, behaviour, and operational policies and procedures in place at the golf club at all times.
Participates in internal and external activities that are judged as appropriate to enhance the prestige of the company; or broadens the scope of the company’s operations by fulfilling the public obligations of the company as a participating member of the community.
Performs other relevant duties as directed by the General Manager.
Job Requirement
Be a competent starter.
Good customer service skills.

Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to lead, supervise and motivate a large team.
Understanding of the Rules of Golf, golf handicapping systems and golf tournament formats.
Ability to multi task and mange time effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines.
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, accounting applications and database management software.
Understand maintenance of golf cart and repair of machines and equipment.
Scoring quickly and accurately for the golf tournament.
Minimum 3-5 years experience of working in the golf operations at a golf club with 2 of those years as a Starter Supervisor or Vice Starter.
Extensive experience in golf cart maintenance and management of golf carts.
