Job Description

  • Responsible for the administration and operations of the outlets within the established standards.
  • Determines training needs and requirements for an organisation or group by meeting with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys
  • Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs.
  • Monitors training programmes and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary
  • Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
  • Specialises in a particular hospitality and keeps current on the activities and needs of current operation by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars
  • Maintains understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods.
  • The performance of the Training Manager is assessed by the service quality results of their unit, the management skills developed and effectively applied by the individual and the training and development of their staffs.

Job Requirement

  • 5 years working experience required.
  • 4 years management experience required.
  • Bachelor degree is required.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the local, English of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally and Chinese language is an advantaged.
  • Exceptional and professional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Food & Beverage Supervisory experience is required.
  • Must have a good understanding of how the job responsibilities relate to other area of the Hotel and specific areas of the Food and Beverage operation, such as food preparation, back of the house service.
  • Must be able to work any shift, any day and long hours when necessary.
  • Recognized experience in hiring, training and empowering employees who are also held responsible and given consistent feedback.
  • Capacity to foster productive relations with peers and assure teamwork is the prevailing way to do business.
  • Excellent guest service skills. Ability to respond to handle difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong leadership, sound judgment, and superior decision-making, problem-solving and follow up skills.
  • Proven ability to manage to all levels of management.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of the concept of luxury and hospitality.
