Job Description

Position Summary

The Club InterContinental Agent is responsible for providing check-in and out, servicing food and beverage to guests in a professional, timely and hospitable manner.




  • Degree: Vocational School Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Administration or equivalent.
  • One year in front office/guest services operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and non-verbally. Fluent in English is preferred.
  • Organize, can multi-task, good problem-solving skills and detail oriented.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred.

Job Requirement



  • Gets to know the guest personally and recognizes their preferences.
  • Anticipates the guest needs and acts accordingly.
  • Services food & beverage to guest and it’s speedy clearance.
  • Provides guest assistance in every possible way.
  • Has good knowledge of the local area to be able to offer suggestions/recommendations if required.
  • Has thoroughly knowledge of hotel facilities including the timings, charges, cuisine served in different outlets, different outdoor activities and offer assistance to make the reservation/booking.
  • Has the ability to coordinate with the guest in order to meet his/her needs efficiently.
  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure guest’s satisfaction.
  • Maintains a handover sheet which is a record of guest requests and handled by him/her or passed on to any other person/department.
  • Ensures that all duties are carried out in line with Hotel Policy with high standards of personal appearance, personal hygiene correct uniform and name badge as outline in the standard.
  • Completes other responsibilities as assigned.
