Job Description
Position Summary
The Club InterContinental Agent is responsible for providing check-in and out, servicing food and beverage to guests in a professional, timely and hospitable manner.
Qualifications
- Degree: Vocational School Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Administration or equivalent.
- One year in front office/guest services operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and non-verbally. Fluent in English is preferred.
- Organize, can multi-task, good problem-solving skills and detail oriented.
- Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred.
Job Requirement
Responsibilities
- Gets to know the guest personally and recognizes their preferences.
- Anticipates the guest needs and acts accordingly.
- Services food & beverage to guest and it’s speedy clearance.
- Provides guest assistance in every possible way.
- Has good knowledge of the local area to be able to offer suggestions/recommendations if required.
- Has thoroughly knowledge of hotel facilities including the timings, charges, cuisine served in different outlets, different outdoor activities and offer assistance to make the reservation/booking.
- Has the ability to coordinate with the guest in order to meet his/her needs efficiently.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure guest’s satisfaction.
- Maintains a handover sheet which is a record of guest requests and handled by him/her or passed on to any other person/department.
- Ensures that all duties are carried out in line with Hotel Policy with high standards of personal appearance, personal hygiene correct uniform and name badge as outline in the standard.
- Completes other responsibilities as assigned.
