Position Summary
The Bellman for the Grand property is responsible for providing a luggage experience for the guest that is flawless and refined in nature. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures, as well as within the framework and intent of the Vision of the Grand property.
Responsibilities
Assist in sustaining a refined, efficient, timely and yet welcoming luggage experience.
Receive, track, coordinate and deliver guest luggage.
Acknowledge, greet and converse with guests who need luggage assistance.
Insist luggage and personal belongings of the guest are always treated with the upmost respect, caution and security.
Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage.
Inform guests of all safety measures, room amenities, and features.
Promote hotel outlets, services and events.
Store guest baggage upon request.
Assist with the loading and unloading of baggage into and out of automobiles.
Maintains close work relationships with other departments and their leaders to promote feedback and efficient operations.
Ensures all activities performed within the department are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, and established safety and security standards.
Keeps leadership informed on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
One year working experience is preferred.
Basic Education completed is preferred.
Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and non-verbally. Fluent in English is encouraged.
Organized, can multi task, problem solving and detail-oriented.
Require 1m60 above for Female and 1m70 above for Male.
