Job Description
-
Assist and support the Sous Chef in the preparation of different foods.
-
Ensure that food sanitation, safety and food handling functions are practiced in their areas on a daily basis.
-
Must read and execute daily prep lists.
-
Communicate well with the team and supervision to ensure everyone is informed properly.
-
Maintain quality and proper presentation of food to meet and exceed departmental standards.
-
Assist other junior kitchen staff in ensuring that the kitchen is clean at all times.
-
Assist junior staff in daily mice en place, hygiene and sanitations standard. Must ensure is compliance with the sections standard.

Keep supervision on junior staff on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.
-
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
-
Must have the ability to be productive for long periods of time.
Job Requirement
-
Minimum vocational School Certificate is required.
-
Two – Three year working experience required
-
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
-
Basic knife skills are essential.
-
Basic culinary skills and food knowledge’s is required.
-
Basic knowledgeable of the production and execution of the local cuisine.
-
Must be able to work any shift and long hours when necessary.
-
Must have the ability to follow recipes.
