Job Description

  • Partner with the Director of Sales to implement short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and corporate-driven operating procedures; proactively communicate expectations and uphold exceptional service standards across the team.
  • Represent the organization through active participation in community and professional associations, promoting brand presence and business relationships.
  • Develop and manage individual sales plans and budgets to meet or exceed revenue targets within assigned territories, supporting sustainable long-term growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of new business development, including prospecting, presentations, product overviews, needs assessments, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Support the development of group, event, and meeting packages, including sample itineraries and pricing structures.
  • Convert prospects into new clients and maintain long-term relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify market trends and develop strategic and tactical sales recommendations for the Director of Sales.
  • Pursue new business opportunities through online booking channels and revenue management initiatives.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key wholesalers and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with clients and group representatives to plan and coordinate program details.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales activity and performance reports.
  • Recommend and implement incentive programs across departments to reduce costs or increase revenue in alignment with company budget guidelines.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of sales team members; ensure delivery of first-class service with exceptional professionalism while fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Recommend staffing actions within assigned areas, including hiring, promotion, demotion, leave approvals, and staff separation as required.
  • Foster a motivating and high-performance work environment that supports acceptable levels of turnover, absenteeism, and career progression

Job Requirement

  • Two – Four years working experience in hospitality is required.
  • At least one One year of management experience.
  • Department-specific experience of one year is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required and Higher Education is preferred.
  • Proven proficiency in computer applications and business software.
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally; fluency in English.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to meet and exceed targets; strong capability in setting, allocating, and managing sales quotas and revenue goals, with measurable performance outcomes.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with experience interpreting statistical and performance reports.
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver strategic plans.
  • Exemplary contract negotiation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of market segmentation, yield management, and inventory management.
  • Ability to create and present visual and oral presentations.
  • Strong capacity to build productive relationships and clearly communicate ideas, direction, and strategy in client and group meetings.
  • Strong leadership, sound judgment, and superior decision-making, problem-solving and follow up skills.  Ability to resolve operational and sales conflicts and challenges.
  • Excellent guest service orientation, with the ability to manage difficult or high-pressure situations with tact and diplomacy; maintains strict confidentiality of guest and company data.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality agreements, company policies, and operational procedures applicable to the region.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of luxury standards and hospitality excellence.
